Boston, MA—O'Reilly Media announced today at the O'Reilly Artificial Intelligence Conference in New York that Intel Nervana and O'Reilly will be the exclusive co-presenters of future Artificial Intelligence Conferences.
The first AI event presented by both companies will be AI Conference in San Francisco September 18–20, 2017, followed by AI Conferences in New York and San Francisco in 2018.
O'Reilly, the premier source for insight-driven learning on technology and business, joins forces with Intel to better educate, define, and drive the AI industry.
Naveen Rao, vice president and general manager of the Artificial Intelligence Products Group at Intel, will chair the AI Conferences with Roger Chen, O'Reilly's Ben Lorica, and honorary chairs Peter Norvig and Tim O'Reilly.
"O'Reilly Media is recognized as the creator of premium thought leadership events in the technology space. We are delighted to welcome Intel as our partner in the new AI event series; their innovation and technical excellence make them the perfect AI event partner. We're off to a great start, as this week’s AI New York is a sold out event, and twice the size of last year’s event," said Gina Blaber, O’Reilly’s Senior Vice President of Conferences.
"We at O’Reilly are extremely happy to partner with Intel, one of the leaders in providing full-stack software and hardware tools for building AI applications. We look forward to working with Intel to make this event the industry gathering for applied AI," said Ben Lorica, O'Reilly's Chief Data Scientist and AI Conference chair.
Artificial Intelligence Conferences bring together business leaders, AI experts, and innovators to explore the most promising applied AI developments and how to implement and succeed with AI technologies.
Forbes lauded the inaugural AI Conference for its "excellent sessions on the philosophical and policy implications of AI," and declared, "There is no better place to imbibe the most up-to-date tech zeitgeist."
