Shareable, verifiable, and built on the Open Badge standard

O’Reilly completion badges are managed by our partner Credly using the Open Badge 2.0 standard—which records and verifies badges to enhance their security and transparency. It also makes them more portable, accessible, and easy to share. So you’re free to embed the proof of your skills in an email, across social media, on LinkedIn, and more.

How to earn an O’Reilly badge

All live and on-demand courses are eligible for completion badges. Learners must complete 80% or more of the provided course content. If the course includes a final quiz, learners must also score 70% or higher to earn their badge.

Get a certificate of completion too

You don’t only get a badge for completing a course—you get a certificate of completion as well. So it’s easy to show your manager that you’re ready to put it to work for your organization.
